Here’s more insight to how I became who I am today. I dedicated 13 years to traditional banking and financial services, where I acquired extensive experience in risk operations, customer support management, and sales. During this period, I discovered my passion for assisting clients and gaining a comprehensive understanding of risk and fraud mitigation within the financial sector. Consequently, I sought to deepen my commitment to combating fraud and enhancing my knowledge of risk management.
This pursuit led me to spend six years at a Fortune 500 FinTech company, specializing in fraud prevention, chargebacks, and payment risk. In this role, I focused on helping businesses safeguard their revenue and foster trust with each transaction.
As I embarked on my new role in the FinTech sector, I sought to transform a personal hobby into a small entrepreneurial venture. Given my proficiency in graphic design, website development, customer support, and time management, I established The Right Approach. Initially, the business focused on providing virtual assistant services to small business owners.
Through these experiences, I saw how challenging it can be for entrepreneurs and small businesses to juggle growth, visibility, and security — especially in the fast-paced online world. So I took a break to enhance my skills and grow my knowledge and build a small team to help support my efforts which were to support startups and e-commerce brands with smart, strategic social media management and the payment risk protection they often don’t realize they need until it’s too late.
